Devoted followers of the pop star are calling for that a individual who leaped a barrier and grabbed the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating video depicts the Australian man pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the event by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being arrested", though official papers revealed that he was set to appear on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

History of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account features videos of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney show in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last year.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful movie of 2024 in the UK, and earned 10 award recognitions, earning two for best costume and set decoration.
