I will dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
