John Stones Moved forward with the ball at his feet, as he has done previously. At times was too casual in possession with the approach abandoned after the break. 6

The tall defender A nuisance from dead balls, as always, perhaps is a replacement to Stones in the backline as opposed to alongside him. A careless pass in the second half nearly resulted in the first goal from the visitors. 6/10

The young full-back One more confident showing from the 20-year-old following his debut versus Serbia. A teammate was unable to take the most of an exquisite flick over the Albania defence. The role looks secure already. 7/10

The newcomer A debut start in an England shirt. Somewhat sloppy when playing out but his dangerous set-pieces posed a danger. A handy pace-controller available to the coach to have against sides that sit back. Cautioned after a reckless challenge. Six

The midfielder Crosses from corners and set-plays caused problems. Was given license to roam down the left flank yet found himself in an offside position as the pass came with a chance to score. Given a deserved rest around the 60-minute point. 6

The star midfielder Operated in a high spot on the right while also put in the hard yards. Showed flashes of quality but scuffed an effort over. Replaced late on by Rogers, his rival, following a yellow card. Seven

Jarrod Bowen Had the team's best chance of the first half, his shot well saved from the Albanian keeper. As Quansah holding position, he had to stretch the play down the right side although his balls from wide areas were inconsistent. Taken off with 15 to go. 6

Harry Kane The difference-maker scoring two more goals for his country. His first a trademark poacher’s finish and the second an excellent headed goal after peeling away from his marker. At 32, his form is unwavering and England have every chance in future competitions with him up top. Eight

The attacker Had difficulty to make an impact from the left. Had a decent opportunity after being played in by the midfielder however Strakosha denied him. His replacement had a greater influence after coming on. 5/10
