The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense enthusiasm across the community. Starting with the one-by-one unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the title's launch, to players developing strong opinions on the full roster of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.

With many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing distinctive designs that emphasize their traits, one thought naturally: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a blend of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was almost chosen for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. But, a Super Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being fun, light-hearted, and impulsive. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly simple to envision Mega Medicham mesmerizing an whole open area with their stories. Medicham’s official description also mentions its capacity to predict an opponent's future actions, which seems very similar to a socially-savvy Gemini.

The Crab – Super Manectric

Starmie is also said to be transmitting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s just like a Leo to be putting on a show, even if for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The zodiac symbol famous for being endearingly judgmental is strongly mirrored across this Pokémon’s entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s just like the symbol a Maiden posts to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a plan.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this sweet, empathetic creature, who employs the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how people are emotionally by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the peace, there are numerous Scales who would probably benefit from Super Audino's abilities. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to stress more about others.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic origin: Abandoned as a toy, it gained sentient through sheer hatred and vowed retribution on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That seems exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a show. Being a Archer myself, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly little jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to foresee disasters in advance? That gives the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who often consistently think they’re right.
